ROY M. ANDERSON is an associate in gartner + bloom PC‘s New York Office where he concentrates his practice in insurance defense. He is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York and Massachusetts, and the Eastern and Southern Federal Districts of New York

While in law school, Mr. Anderson served as Executive Articles Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law and published his note “A Proposal for Calculating Reimbursed Victims of Financial Identity Theft Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines,” 5 BROOK. J. CORP. FIN. & COM. L. 447, in a 2011 volume of the journal. He was also honored as an Edward v. Sparer Public Interest fellow and completed a Brooklyn Law School International Human Rights Fellowship while working at the United Nations Office of Nairobi, Kenya.

After law school, Mr. Anderson practiced for more than three years at a Garden City, NY law firm where he provided labor and general counsel assistance to school districts and public libraries, and represented a large not-for-profit agency in employment discrimination cases before the New York State and City Commissions on Human Rights. Mr. Anderson then practiced for one year in the transportation liability coverage group of a downtown Manhattan law firm until he joined gartner + bloom PC.
